Cera Alba

Also known as white wax, this the substance that forms the honeycomb structure.

It contains lots of vitamins, with outstanding emollient, healing, anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties, as it acts to create a barrier that waterproofs and protects the skin against external agents.

In cosmetics it is widely used in the make-up of creams, nourishing potions, lipsticks, tonics and facial masks.

It is also marketed as a component of many soaps.
